Graduate of the Sui & Move Developer Bootcamp, run by Mysten Labs in Thessaloniki in May 2025 — selected among 20 developers from Europe for a fully sponsored, two-week program trained directly by Mysten Labs engineers.

Now serves as a Sui & Move Workshop Instructor at SuiHub Athens (freelance/on-demand, for the Sui Foundation), designing and delivering hands-on workshops and technical learning material on the Sui blockchain and Move programming language.

Brisk — 3rd place, Sui Overflow 2026 (DeFi & Payments)

Applied this Move/Sui knowledge by building Brisk, my own project, end to end: a decentralized tap-to-pay point of sale on Sui. A customer taps their phone to a merchant terminal (or scans a QR) and pays the exact amount in USDC — no gas, no card fees — while idle balances earn yield in a one-tap vault. Payments settle on-chain in under a second.

Out of 747 projects submitted from 58 countries, Brisk took 3rd place in the DeFi & Payments track at Sui Overflow 2026 — the track sponsored by OpenZeppelin (1st) and OtterSec (3rd). From the announcement: “A customer taps their phone to a merchant terminal and pays the exact amount in USDC with no gas and no card fees, while idle balances earn yield in a one-tap vault.”

What I built

  • Self-custodial, no seed phrase. Accounts are created from a Google sign-in and every payment is confirmed with Face ID / fingerprint — no wallet extension, no 0x address to paste.
  • Tap or scan to pay. NFC tap at a Brisk terminal, or a QR scan — and if the payer has no app installed, the same QR opens a web checkout that completes the payment in the browser.
  • Business side. Go Pro from the same account, accept payments in person or via payment links (single-use or reusable, with expiry and cancel), run a gift-card program out of the box, and plug Brisk into an existing POS/ERP through a terminal code — the sale is pushed to the phone in real time and the on-chain transaction reference is reported back for tax reporting.
  • Instant settlement, no 2–3% card-network haircut. Funds are the merchant’s the moment a customer pays.
  • Move smart contracts, written and tested from scratch: merchant registry, till (session-based charging), gift cards, a yield-bearing spending vault with a lender adapter, payment receipts, and capped agent wallets — on-chain spending limits that let an AI agent transact while the owner keeps custody and a hard daily cap.

Stack: Sui / Move smart contracts, a React Native (Expo, Android) app, a browser checkout, and a TypeScript backend. Move modules ship with their own test suites.
